Oregon Jobs and Trade

Oregon depends on trade. Oregon companies that research, design, and develop products in Oregon that are sold around the world directly or indirectly support hundreds of thousands of jobs. With $21 billion in exports annually, over 6,000 Oregon businesses sell goods overseas and nearly 90% of these are small and medium sized businesses. International trade is integral to the creation and preservation of businesses that support Oregon families and their communities. Congress can help ensure Oregon businesses have access to new markets and will compete in a free and fair global marketplace.

We know that not all companies play by the rules. We believe it’s time to eliminate barriers to trade and bring greater transparency and accountability to trade policies so American businesses have a fair shot.

The Solution

Oregon Jobs Through Trade is a coalition shining a spotlight on how trade directly leads to more jobs and more livable communities. Our mission is to help ensure that all pro-trade supporters’ voices are heard by our Federal delegation of elected officials in Washington, D.C.
